SYNOPSIS
Good Fortune is a sharp, modern comedy written and directed by Aziz Ansari, marking his first feature-length narrative film as a director. The film follows Arj (Ansari), whose life unravels after a bad breakup, pushing him into a spiral of regret, self-help experiments, and misguided attempts to fix everything at once. His journey takes an unexpected turn when he crosses paths with Jeff (Seth Rogen), a successful entrepreneur whose perfect life becomes the envy — and obsession — of Arj’s imagination
Filled with witty dialogue, layered emotional beats, and the grounded humor Aziz is known for, Good Fortune blends comedy and introspection in a story about envy, self-worth, and what it really means to rebuild your life.
